The In Floor Cellular Raceway System was chosen to meet the large data requirements of Four Winds, a one story casino. Due to project constraints, the Cordeck shop attached the trench to cellular deck cross sections accelerating the overall project schedule.
August of 2007 the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians opened the Four Winds Casino Resort. The casino offers 130,000 square feet of gaming space, 165 hotel rooms, six restaurants, entertainment bars and retail shops. The casino floor includes 3,000 slot machines and 100 table games. Constructed at an estimated cost of $160 million, the 52 acre development is expected to draw more than four million
visitors each year to the New Buffalo area.
“Gephart Electric worked with Cordeck on Four Winds Casino and received support from Cordeck’s engineering department when trench reconfigurations had to be made prior to the order shipping. The order was shipped in correct segments to match floor installation and scheduled installation dates. We also ordered some replacement header duct cover plates that were damaged during construction, the replacement pieces arrived in a timely fashion and all fit in their respective locations.”
