Metal Roof Deck
Metal roof decking is a corrugated steel panel installed directly over structural steel framing to serve as the structural substrate for a commercial or industrial roof system. Cordeck manufactures four metal roof deck profiles. Each has a distinct rib width and depth that determines its spanning capability, load capacity, and ideal application.
1.5” A Deck Narrow Rib Roof Deck
A Deck is a 1.5” narrow rib steel roof deck available in a standard 36” coverwidth, gauges 22, 20, and 18, and multiple finishes including galvanized, painted, and stainless steel. It is a nestable profile, meaning sheets stack tightly for efficient shipping and handling.
A Deck is best suited for shorter roof spans and is commonly specified for retail, small office buildings, light industrial warehouses, mezzanines, and architectural applications where the corrugated underside is intentionally exposed.

1.5” B Deck Wide Rib Roof Deck
B Deck is the most widely specified steel roof deck profile in commercial construction. Its wide rib provides greater spanning capability than A Deck, making it the standard choice across a broad range of commercial and industrial applications. Available in a standard 36” coverwidth with additional coverwidths of 24” and 30”, in gauges 22, 20, 18, and 16.

1.5” F Deck Intermediate Rib Roof Deck
F Deck features an intermediate rib profile that falls between A Deck and B Deck in rib width. It is primarily specified for the repair or replacement of existing F Deck systems in older buildings.

3.0” N Deck Deep Rib Roof Deck
N Deck is Cordeck’s deepest roof deck profile at 3.0”, designed for longer spans and heavier loads than 1.5” profiles can accommodate. Available with acoustical perforations and sound absorption material for noise attenuation in gymnasiums, auditoriums, and natatoriums.

Metal Form Deck
Metal form deck is a corrugated steel panel used as a permanent form for poured concrete in floor and stair construction where structural composite action between the steel and concrete is not required. It supports the concrete during placement and curing, and remains in place permanently as part of the finished structure. Form deck is also widely used in non-structural interior design applications. Cordeck offers three metal form deck profiles.
0.6” Form Deck
The shallowest profile in Cordeck’s form deck lineup, best suited for shorter spans and lighter loads. Available in a standard 36” coverwidth in gauges 28, 26, 24, and 22.

1.0” Form Deck
Offers mid-range spanning capability for applications requiring slightly greater span or load than the 0.6” profile can accommodate. Available in a standard 36” coverwidth in gauges 26, 24, 22, and 20.

1.5” Form Deck
The deepest and most versatile profile in the form deck lineup, offering the greatest spanning capability and the widest range of gauge and finish options including stainless steel. Available in a standard 36” coverwidth with additional coverwidths of 24” and 30”, in gauges 24, 22, 20, 18, and 16.

Composite Metal Floor Deck
Composite floor deck is a corrugated steel panel with embossments that allow poured concrete to mechanically bond to the steel, creating a composite structural floor system. Unlike form deck, composite floor deck develops structural composite action between the steel and the concrete, resulting in a stronger, more efficient floor system that reduces the amount of structural steel required in the overall building design. Cordeck offers three composite metal floor deck profiles.
1.5” Composite Floor Deck
The standard spanning option, typically specified for multi-story office buildings and standard commercial floor applications.

2.0” Composite Floor Deck
Provides greater spanning capability than the 1.5” profile for projects requiring longer floor spans or heavier loads.

3.0” Composite Floor Deck
Handles the longest spans and heaviest loads in the composite lineup, specified for large-scale commercial, industrial, and mixed-use structures with demanding structural requirements.

Project Services
Cordeck offers a full suite of project services supporting contractors, engineers, and project managers from the first drawing to the final delivery. All Cordeck deck products are manufactured to precise lengths, minimizing field cutting and waste. Same and next day delivery is available nationwide, and same day pickup is available at all eight locations.
Detailing Services
Cordeck’s in-house detailing team provides comprehensive project services including installation drawings, stud installation drawings, bundle placement plans, cut lists, and accessories placement documentation.
Installation drawings are submitted to the project architect and engineer for approval prior to manufacture. They guide the entire installation process and reduce the likelihood of field errors and costly modifications.
Bundle placement plans specify the correct location of deck bundles during unloading and hoisting to the steel framework, ensuring bundles are always positioned near a main supporting beam, at a column, or at a wall.
Cut lists document exactly how each sheet of deck needs to be cut, minimizing waste and reducing unnecessary field cutting.
Accessories placement documentation ensures pour stops, end closures, side closures, ridge caps, and flat plates are correctly located at edges, openings, and transitions, ensuring weatherproofing, structural integrity, and code compliance.
Cordeck targets a two-week turnaround for deck installation drawing submittals.

Laser Cutting Services
Cordeck’s laser cutting services use a Bystronic fiber laser system at the Kenosha, Wisconsin headquarters and Denton, Texas facility. Fiber lasers cut faster and with better edge quality on metals than traditional CO2 lasers, delivering tighter tolerances and cleaner cuts across a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum.
Clean cuts eliminate the need for secondary finishing, reduce rework, maximize material yield, and keep projects moving. Tight tolerances mean the actual cut closely matches the specified design dimension, which is critical for components that must fit together precisely during installation.
